Watching my steps

You were the perfect example of what not to be. Nature pulled me in your direction, but nurture gave me another way. I still look down when I walk. Dead set on not following any of your footsteps.

  1. I love the simple duality of the poem. It made me remember that even thou we make great accomplishments in life we are always plagued by the little insecure kid that dwells inside all of us.

    1. I appreciate the support. It’s harder then it looks to be vulnerable and to choice your words wisely. To convey and confess without over sharing or bogging the message down with too much text.
